This Chardonnay reminds us of the great examples of the Santa Lucia Highlands and the Russian River Valley in California. The texture is full and voluptuous, but balanced with acidity and spicy oak notes. The flavors range from lemon and apple to quince and banana, with cinnamon, buttercream, and caramel. The complexity and the balance of this wine is remarkable.

Winemaking

Carefully selected handpicked Chardonnay grapes with subsequent processing at appropriate temperatures. The grapes are reselected in sorting tables, and the berries are separated from the stems and pressed in a pneumatic press after short maceration at low temperature.  Fermentation in French oak barrels and maturation in the same barrels for 6 months with subsequent bottle aging for 6 months.
