A real stunner! The Elenovo Reserve is the top line of estate-grown Cabernet Franc. The fruit aromas span from red cherry, cranberry, and blackberry, with savory aromas of bay leaf, red bell pepper, overturned earth, tobacco, and campfire. The tannins are pronounced but well integrated into the wine's full body. This wine reminds us of the classic aromas and flavors of Cabernet Franc of the Loire Valley (think Saumur-Champigny) but with the power and potency of right bank Bordeaux.
